I kind of figured this would happen...
Writer's block. or something like that.
I have a journal.. a personal blog that I started when the shit hit the fan a little over a year ago. I wanted a blog that was just for me. I offered my husband the link, but he never read it. He felt it was my own place and wanted me to keep it that way. When I was writing for no one but myself, the words would flow easily. I could write easily about whatever was in my head. I was writing just for me, but sometimes wanted to share bits and pieces of it.
Now, I've started this blog and already I've nothing to say. Much of what's in my head revolves around my family. My children don't "get" my online friendships and would feel betrayed if I were to write about them here. But it's not just that. For some reason, just knowing somebody might be reading, I'm speechless. (not that ANYbody is probably reading...I sent invites to several friends who haven't popped by. ho hum)
Last week Don told me he read my blog. He told me it was everything he loves about me. He told me that it made him laugh and brought tears. He said I was brilliant and funny. (Imagine that!) I haven't written a word since.
I amVERY excited, though. I have a new camera. :-) Pictures to follow....
okay, maybe one now.

That's coz you are brilliant and funny, G! :-)
I guess I'd just say that you should write here just for you, like in your other blog. Not sure if I'll explain myself well, but... write what you want to write, whenever you feel like it, but don't feel obliged to write anything in particular because you have 'an audience'. The audience - your friends - don't mind what you write about...it's more about being able to share stuff with friends, regardless of what the 'stuff' is. Does that make sense? It did when I first thought it. :-\
Yay for the new camera. I like the pretty picture. You take great photos, methinks.
I write just for me, for the most part. Even the funny stories. I do it because sometimes I forget things happened and I know if I write it down, I'll have a laugh later.
There *are* limitations to what I'll write about, as you are sure to guess.
I respect the privacy of those that I love and if I do write about them, I always ask permission. there are some things that are a no-brainer for me.
Sex, arguements, etc. Too personal.
Besides, hopefully there won't ever come a time when I have to go back through my blog to remember what sex was like. ha ha.
I love seeing your photos. Your state has a bunch of that lovely ground cover that blooms (that's what it looks like to me)! If my camera battery didn't die all the time, I'd probably take more photos..
I love reading what you have to say (although I'm a bit behind reading since I'm not online all the time)! We all write what we want on these blogs, we just want to know about YOU, anything you are feeling. We LOVE you! :))
hugs,

LOL
I have moments when I'm at a loss of what to put out there. Hard to believe, but true! LOL
And I think we all get cautious about what's put in black and white.
Wiseperson told me it's not what I share, it's that I'm sharing--
What's HE know!?! Hmmmmmmmmph!
LOL
Truly, I don't go 'looking' for anything when I go to read. Just the knowledge that all is well, or what circumstances are in need of prayer and postive thoughts.
Like what I put into words is filled with deep thought?!!? Hardly! LOL
Please don't believe it's about some expectation on my part.
Gosh, that's the furthest thing from the truth.
(((((((((((((G))))))))))))))
And ya know--we need to clone Don.
Does he do floors? ;-)
