Days
It was a full weekend! Busier than I prefer, but really worth every minute.
Friday evening, we celebrated my boy's birthday. We had great fun!

Our chef was particularly entertaining. He ooohed and ahhhed us with his skillful use of cutlery and fire! He made a volcano out of an onion and sliced and diced with lightening speed. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. The best part of the evening, though, was the smiles it brought to us. You can almost see them, yes??

Saturday afternoon? Tea! A friend decided to retire from teaching this year and we girls thought Afternoon Tea would be a fitting celebration. We had a blast! There's a hotel in the BIG city that's been serving Tea for something like 5 million years. The setting was lovely, the service was superb (haha! I typed suburb!) and the tea and treats were beyond yummy! We sat and munched and talked and laughed for hours. We snooped around the hotel and took funny pictures. What a pleasant day!

Sunday we participated in a local charity event. It was a 3rd annual walk put on by a foundation that is near and dear to me. The event was uplifting and heartwarming. Remember to hug your loved ones today...especially your little ones. It'll make you feel better and you'll be so glad you did.

Sounds like an all over great weekend. Busy is good when you're doing things you like with people you care about. :-)
((((hugs)))
I think I've been drinking too much this morning. I can't quite make out the group picture. ;)
Family. Ain't it the greatest?
Tell the boy happy birthday! (belated!)
It sounds like the best of weekends and as E said, it'sall good when you're doing things with people you care about.
Did you go to BeniHana? I love that place - watching them make the food is fun stuff!
hugs
No worries--I won't sing. (well, at least not loudly..LOL)
Happy Belated b'day to the boy--and many more happy tea's and gatherings of good friends and loved ones to you!
Oh I love taking tea!! It's such a wonderful tradition and I do wish it was ingrained in our culture more :)
It sounds like dinner was marvelous, and what a lovely family I can just make out through the gauziness!!
