Alert the press!
Mel likes my kitty!! Mel likes my kitty!!

:-)
He does have beautiful blue eyes... AND, he is the most entertaining cat ever! He's SO playful. At any given moment, he'll suddenly start running around at warp speed, making weird jungle kitty noises, flying up and down the stairs and bouncing off the furniture. Hilarious! Other times, he's chasing his tail and just can't understand why it keeps moving away from him, even when he turns around and sneaks up on it! He plays with his toys and just generally does all the cute kitty things to keep us all amused and entertained. Jack. Gotta love him.

Nothing new on the wire in the pulmonary arteries front. I'm trying to arrange for a second opinion. My insurance will only pay for it if I use one of the doctors THEY pick. I've already done that. This time, I'd like to choose my own. I have some friends who have great contacts, so I will probably make an appointment with one of these doctors and just pay out of pocket. I suppose it's worth it. It's so hard to get all the little things done, working full time and having no privacy to make these kinds of calls at work. I'll get to it, though. We'll see...

I have an appointment next week for a booby ultrasound. :-\
The last visit to my oncologist resulted in an order for an ultrasound because he didn't like the lumps in my remaining booby. I sort of forgot about it because I was focusing on the wire in the chest and the looming possibility of surgery. Now, I'm being a good little patient and getting the ultrasound. I'm sure it's just scar tissue so I've decided not to worry.

The spider picture in my last post? This guy lived in his web between two trees out front for about a week. He was really beautiful. I think spiders are cool. My daughter thinks I'm crazy, as she is terrified of the little creatures. She can NOT understand why, when we find spiders in the house, I gather them up and carry them outside to safety, rather than smash their little guts to pieces.

Tomorrow evening we're having dinner with friends. I'm bringing my world famous garlic bread, cheesecake and wine. That, in itself, is dinner enough for me!

I've about run out of (un)interesting things to say. I made it through this without whining! (haven't I?) I'd best be moving on.
Hugs and love and peace and good hair days to all..........

.... good hair days to all! That almost had me on the floor.
What I don't love is hearing that your other boobie is giving your doctor cause for concern. I know I don't have to say this, but do let us know as soon as you find out, OK?
I agree, it's worth paying the money out of pocket for a second opinion. BUT, if the doctor thinks something should be done, will the insurance company pay for him to do it, or would you have to go to one of THEIR doctors?
I don't like your insurance company very much.
xoxoxo
Oh, GREAT.
Now the whole WORLD knows I said something kindly about a CAT!
*rolling eyes*
Jack IS a pretty cat and he brings you great happiness.
That makes me happy.
Especially that he's yours and not MINE.
(there......that feels a bit better! LOL)
Go chase a physician that you'll feel good about. Peace of mind is priceless. (bill SUCK, insurance companies SUCK......but a good physician....doesn't suck. LOL)
I know you know.....but you'll let us know, right?
P.S. ANY day with hair is a good hair day.
P.P.S.S. Didchaknow that house spiders don't wanna be freed? So we let 'em take residence in the basement cuz they like trains.
*nodding happily*
